If you are taking the train to other parts of Japan from Tokyo, you'll definitely need to pass by Tokyo Station. For that very reason, you will realize what you have been missing out all this while when you were in Japan.
The infamous Tokyo Banana can be easily found at Tokyo Station. It ranges from the original flavour to maple flavour to strawberry flavour and from time to time there might be other flavours too. I've tried the 3 flavours I've mentioned and really loved the strawberry one in particular because I'm a big fan of strawberry yet it wasn't too sweet for the tooth.

Next up will be the Kamakura Hangetsu. The box of 6 came with different flavours inclusive of the sweet adzuki bean cream and matcha green tea cream. Apart from the cute rabbit and the semi-circle shape of the wafer, the best part of Kamakura Hangetsu was the wafer. Unfortunately, I did not really fancy the cream filling as the matcha or sweet adzuki bean was overpowered by the cream taste. That said, I will still recommend it as a gift set!

Cute cupcakes? YES! Although I am sad to say that I did not get a chance to try out those cute animal cupcakes from Fairycake Fair, and would definitely want to do that the next time I head to Tokyo Station, they seem to be worth a try. Fairycake Fair's cupcakes appears to be one of the only few shops at the station that sells cute cupcakes. So don't miss your chance when you pass by!

If animal cupcakes aren't your thing, why not try the
Honey Bear (Petite)? I have some mixed feelings on this lil' bear because I really loved the filling but it was really sweet. But not to worry, because the pastry itself is not heavy on sugar, so it really helps to even out the sweetness.

For those matcha fans, Tokyo Campanella is definitely a MUST BUY! The flavour of the filling is so rich, you'll probably regret not getting one of those. Even for the chocolate version, you'll get the thick chocolaty taste right at your first bite.

On every trip, chocolate is one of the easiest gift to get, but then again, you don't want to look like you did not put an effort in finding a gift, then
Sembiyaki Mille Feuille chocolate bars are your answer. The chocolate bar is made by layering thin layers of wafer together (I think so..) which makes it really special. Its rich taste and delicate texture makes it the perfect gift for anyone, even for your tummy.

Enough of the food talk. If you want to get something that is non-food related, there are extremely Cute Handkerchief up for grab that can also be used as a box wrap! I highly recommend to snag a few home for your friends because this is zero space consuming!

Do check out Tokyo Station regardless. There is a ton of other stuff which I never managed to check out but I'm pretty sure there would be something that will catch your attention and you won't want to miss that!
