The Body Shop Seaweed Balance Sheet Mask Review

Lately, I've been loving quite a number of products from The Body Shop because of how effective their product is! Having combination and sensitive skin, this mask caught my eyes and I've decided to try it out. This was the first time I'm actually trying out The Body Shop's sheet mask.
When opening the packaging, I caught a whiff of alcohol coming from the mask. Since I have sensitive skin, I was quite worried that the alcohol would irritate my skin even more. Fortunately, my skin didn't react much to the alcohol!
After leaving the mask on for around 15 minutes, my skin does feel much more mattified! However, on a scale from 1 to 10, I would rate my skin getting hydrate as 6 only. I felt that my skin was sufficiently hydrated but my skin didn't feel baby soft. Unfortunately, some dry patches on my face still remained dehydrated after the mask.
Personally, I felt that the sheet mask material was rather rough and thick, unlike the Korean sheet masks which feel much more soft and silky, with thinner material. I felt a little concerned since sheet masks do have a reverse effect when you leave them on for too long. With thicker material, I felt that it might dry up my skin if I don't remove the mask right on the dot (Maybe I’m thinking too much).
That said, this sheet mask comes with a ton of extra serum. This means that you can still use the remaining serum for the next few days!
Overall, I would say that this mask is slightly on the pricey side ($5) of what it has to offer. I believe that there are other masks of a lower price that can deliver the exact results too. However, if these masks are on promotion, maybe you could consider getting them!
