Lorong Halus Wetland - Punggol Instagram Worthy Spots | Lookbook

Back in 2016, when Punggol open areas were left untouched, the Punggol Lalang Field was a famous photo location for photo seekers. Fast forward to 2017, unfortunately, the lalang field in punggol that was marked on the Google Map was sealed up for construction works, ie. no more lalang field. So do we really want to go all the way to Tuas Lalang Field just for a few snaps?

Luckily, my photographer who went with me managed to find a lalang field replica. If you are already in Punggol trying to search for the lalang field, fear not, you can at least get something really similar to the lalang field that everyone was talking about back then. If you are reading this blog at home to check out the Punggol lalang field, then this might help you decide whether to go or not.

Located at Lorong Halus Wetland, this field can be found somewhere near the public toilet. There aren't many field patches that you can see around the public restroom so it would be easy to spot. Initially you might be deceived by how sparse the field is but with the right angles it should ease the problem!

That said, Lorong Halus Wetland isn't just all about this lalang field replica. Further down from this grass patch, there is another patch of grass species that looks pretty decent for a few snaps.

If you managed to find the grass patch that I've just mentioned, another ideal photo spot that you can reach easily is at the shelter. There is only one shelter around that area so it won't be hard to find.

Me and my photographer accidentally found this photo spot by accident as it was raining and there was nothing better to do under the shelter than just taking more snaps.

This sums up some really great photo spots you can get while at Lorong Halus Wetland. Ideally you would want to go in the evening while the sun sets to catch the best colours of the grass land.
